Training

Flamerisk Safety Solutions Ltd. Is an officially Approved Training Centre under the Institute of Fire Safety Managers and all its courses are approved by them. Flamerisk provides a wide range of training courses that can be delivered on site or at venues that have already been used and approved by Flamerisk. Courses can be tailored and designed for any clients particular needs and we offer an extensive range of subjects. Flamerisk is continually building on its reputation, both in the UK and internationally in delivering quality courses at all levels. Flamerisk also delivers specialist courses in building surveying e.g. asbestos awareness, and courses designed for professionals who deal with personal emergency evacuation planning for disables people (PEEPs). Under the current legislation, training is a requirement.

Fire safety training covers a large amount of courses but we also design and deliver such topics as fire inspector 1 and 2, operational command and fire investigation and arson control. Continuous Professional Development is offered for all courses through the Institute of Fire Safety Managers.

 

 

 

1. Fire safety awareness course, 3 hours delivered on site, maximum of 12 on any course, aimed at general employees.
2. Fire Risk Assessors course, 2 day aimed at those who management wish to be a 'responsible person' for carrying out fire risk assessments in the workplace, enforcement authorities personnel, those persons who wish to carry out fire risk assessments, maximum of 10 delegates.
3. Fire Wardens course half day (3.5 hours) maximum of 12.
4. Fire Marshalls course half day maximum 10.
5. Fire Trainers one day course (train the trainer type course) maximum 10.
6. Fire Risk Assessors Refresher one day maximum 10 persons.
7. Fire risk assessment management awareness course, 1 day maximum of 10.
8. Introduction to fire risk assessment course, 1 day maximum of 10.
9. Various command and control courses.
10. Arson prevention and control course half day and full day maximum of 10 persons
11. Fire investigation course 2, 3 and 4 day courses.

Please note that these are the minimum days for the courses to run but they can be set over more days and subjects added as desired e.g. we have a 4 day Risk Assessors course that includes security issues. We also set a maximum number of attendees so that we can get the maximum tutorage between them and the presenters.
